Minimalux has designed Drum, a lighting collection of varying scale and functionality made from tubular extruded aluminium.

Pared down to bare aesthetics, the Drum lighting collection presents quietly striking silhouettes together with balanced interplays of direct and indirect light.

Simple Minimalux forms are paired with equally uncomplicated robust construction techniques within a back-to-basics approach to lighting design that includes adjustable table, floor and suspension models.

Common throughout the collection is the uniform use of partly recycled extruded aluminium, fine textured finishing in black, white or brushed aluminium, solid brass detailing and not least the recognisable Drum shade.

This project has been longlisted in the lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
