AB+AC Architects has designed the interiors of Do Sol Kitchen as part of an apartment in the centre of Lisbon, Portugal.

Do Sol Kitchen's design was focused on maximising light while maintaining warmth and tactility.

The stainless steel counter surface, white wooden flooring and steel lattice allow light to pass through and be reflected in the space, while the dark-stained pine wood cabinets give a warm feeling to the space, creating a clean, essential and calming atmosphere.

A play of reflections occurs on the stainless steel counter as well as the cabinets, while the steel lattice doors allow for the kitchen to be both spatially contained yet visually open to the rest of the apartment.

This project has been longlisted in the kitchen interior category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
