Kokuyo/Yohak Design Studio has designed the interiors of Serendie Street at Mitsubishi Electric's DX Hub in Yokohama, Japan.

Serendie Street Yokohama is Mitsubishi Electric’s DX Hub, where the 2,500 square metre floor is designed as a single large 'street' with various zones.

Obstacles are intentionally designed to facilitate unexpected encounters, while semicircular forms create subtle detours, encouraging gatherings and S-shaped volumes alter spatial orientation, drawing movement inward.

These design features blur the boundary between circulation and occupation, promoting intuitive and exploratory engagement with the space.

The design encourages a journey through these spaces, creating opportunities for unexpected encounters and moments of serendipity.

This project has been longlisted in the workplace interior (large) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
