Miriam Barrio Estudio has renovated the interiors of Pink Affair, a modern Catalan residence in Barcelona, Spain.
This renovation project reimagines a historic apartment in Barcelona, blending Catalan modernism with a sophisticated, functional approach.

Located near Paseo de Gracia, the project honours the city's modernist legacy by combining artisanal craftsmanship with noble materials like pink onyx, Emperador marble and Negro Marquina.

Traditional mouldings and hydraulic tiles are reinterpreted into contemporary elements, creating a dialogue between history and modernity.

Each detail is designed to transcend aesthetics, transforming the space into a sensory experience. From marble transitions to a striking pink onyx table, Pink Affair reimagines timeless luxury, proving that history can evolve while preserving its essence.

This project has been shortlisted in the residential interior (small) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
