Reiichi Ikeda Design has designed the interiors of the 3D Snap store, a compact shop that creates 3D-printed dog figurines in Tokyo, Japan.

This project saw the development of 3D Snap's facade and interiors, a store where dog owners can get a scan of their pet 3D-printed into a figurine.

"For the facade display, which serves as the core element of the space, we [produced] a round object that will serve as the backdrop for the display stand," said Reiichi Ikeda Design.

Additionally, the idea of the Truss structure, which symbolises the nearby Tokyo Tower, has been partially traced to inspire the design of the reinforcement materials.

Despite its compact size, the space successfully embodies the relationship with the local area and clearly expresses the shop's purpose.

This project has been shortlisted in the retail interior (small) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
