Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2025 interior designer of the year, Studio Joanna Laajisto prioritises durable, natural materials and avoids short trend cycles, creating interior spaces that stand the test of time.

Founded in 2010 by designer Joanna Laajisto, the studio has built a portfolio of interiors for hotels, restaurants and workplaces, which embrace sustainability and the circular economy.

The studio's recent projects include The Way bar in Helsinki, Pyhä Ski Resort pizzeria and a logistics centre for Finnish Design Shop.
