Meco Studios has designed Meco Razor.

The Meco Razor began as an exploration of the cartridge razor category, a well-established and widely adopted shaving architecture shaped by manufacturing realities, cost constraints and a wide range of user preferences.

This project asked what other possibilities the object itself might hold if craft, materials and interaction were allowed to meaningfully shape the experience.

The work pursued greater purity in form – while introducing more thoughtful touchpoints, including magnetic wall mounting, magnetic cartridge attachment, an open-loop design for rinsing and a design language that allows the razor to blend into modern home environments.
