Atelier YokYok has designed Ninho Globo.

Ninho Globo is a monumental, hand-built sphere set in the windswept landscape of Salvaterra-do-Extremo, Portugal.

Crafted from local black schist and granite, it evokes celestial bodies, nests and the geological memory of the land.

The artwork invites a direct, physical encounter, questioning the human relationship with habitat, the common good and the passage of time – all while bridging local history and contemporary artistic practice.
