The Crafts College in Herning is conceived as a living teaching tool, formed to inspire and nurture community.

Designed by Danish architecture studio Dorte Mandrup, the building celebrates the close connection between craftsmanship and architecture.

In response to the decline in vocational training enrolment, a place where young craftspeople can thrive personally, socially and professionally is offered.

Shaped like an ellipse, the Crafts College brings together housing, workshop facilities and communal spaces in a gesture that promotes collaboration and togetherness.
