Wunderwall Design has designed the interiors of the Apartment On A Hill in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This project is an overhaul of an old apartment unit, rooted in nostalgia and memories of growing up in suburban Kuala Lumpur.

"The design direction is a tangible manifestation of the client: eclectic, lots of personality and a fearless sense of colour," said Wunderwall Design.

"Compact living in the urban fabric typically implies tight and multi-purpose functions stacked on each other, allowing only small navigating spaces."

The interior design of Apartment On A Hill addresses this issue and provides a different lens: compact living without sacrificing visual comfort and spatial generosity.
