Spacon and +Halle have collaborated on the design of ADP Bench.

The ADP Bench, created by Copenhagen-based studio Spacon in collaboration with +Halle, explores how subtle behavioural triggers can encourage interaction in public spaces.

Inspired by research from the University of Southern Denmark, the bench uses a graphic line and adjustable swivel seats to invite users to instinctively align, rearrange and personalise the furniture.

Combining seating and table functions, the bench adapts to changing social needs, from solo work to group interaction.

Rather than relying on gimmicks, the ADP Bench promotes intuitive play, ownership and communication, demonstrating how thoughtful design can shape behaviour and spark social engagement in everyday public environments.
