BekArch has designed and converted the interiors of an old bakery workshop in Prague, Czech Republic.

This old bakery renovation transforms an enclosed, single-volume space into a skylight-filled, functional studio apartment.

Preserved roof skylights and a large glass portal opening onto a private covered terrace maximise natural light while ensuring privacy within the dense urban context.

The design celebrates raw industrial character, pairing exposed concrete beams and a Cemflow cement floor with bespoke spruce bioboard joinery and stainless steel accents.

Softened by climbing plants and textiles, this restrained material palette creates an avant-garde yet inviting urban hideaway that beautifully balances industrial rawness with residential comfort.
