I IN has designed the interiors of The Ginza Lounge in Tokyo, Japan.

The Ginza Lounge reinterprets Japanese luxury through the concept of tsuya — gloss and shifting sheen — reflecting the luminous aura of Ginza.

Rather than creating a conventional VIP lounge, this project translates the district's urban atmosphere into an immersive spatial experience shaped by reflection, translucency and layered light.

Reflective aluminium, washi-like illuminated surfaces, hinoki wood and accents of Edo purple create an environment that feels calm yet vibrant.

Through changing daylight, soft illumination and restrained materiality, the lounge proposes a lighter, contemporary vision of luxury rooted in Japanese aesthetics.
