Archermit has designed the Nujiang River 72 canyon viewpoint in Tibet, China.

This project features a glass-floored cantilevered viewpoint at the Nujiang River 72 Turns Canyon Scenic Area that transforms a perilous landscape in Tibet into a visitor destination.

Inspired by the G318's Devil's Road – due to its dangerous hairpin turns above the Nujiang Grand Canyon and river below – the viewpoint uses a 37-metre cantilevered glass observatory, a suspension bridge and 666 Heavenly Stairs to immerse visitors in the canyon's thrill.

"Built over six years by 329 workers without heavy machinery, the viewpoint honours resilience and transforms barren slopes into orchards," said Archermit.
