Maison Osaïn has designed the interiors of House Montagna in Courmayeur, Italy.
House Montagna is a restored alpine chalet at the foot of Mont Blanc, conceived as a contemporary retreat rooted in stillness, material honesty and connection to the landscape.
Through a restrained palette of natural materials and a minimal architectural language, this project reinterprets traditional mountain living into a serene, tactile and timeless interior.
House Montagna promotes a more conscious way of living, rooted in simplicity, longevity and a strong connection between people, place and material.
By transforming an existing, derelict structure rather than building anew, the interiors preserve embedded value while reducing the need for additional resources.
