Freitag, in collaboration with Job van den Berg, has designed the Upcycled Pegboard Lamps for its new store interior.

Zurich-based bag maker Freitag collaborates with designer Job van den Berg to give a retired Freitag store interior a new life.

Old pegboards and hooks used for many years to display Freitag bags and accessories are transformed into a bold collection of one-of-a-kind lamps – colourful, surprising and unmistakably repurposed.

The pegboards are hand-cut, laser-cut and welded into luminous table, pendant, wall and floor lamps, supplemented by truck tarp leftovers and hooks that hold the lamps.

This approach has resulted in endless possibilities to move bulbs around – honouring the previous and new life of the pegboard.
