K-studio has designed Dexamenes Seaside Hotel in Kourota, Greece.
Originally presented as the adaptive reuse of an abandoned 1920s wine factory, Dexamenes Seaside Hotel continues to evolve through a second phase of lightweight rooftop rooms and an expanding cultural programme.
The new intervention hovers above the original concrete wine tanks, extending the life of the industrial structures – while preserving their raw identity and connection to the landscape.
Conceived as a living organism rather than a finished object, Dexamenes combines hospitality, gastronomy, art and cultural research to create an evolving platform for contemporary Greek culture and collective experience.
