The Kandao Obsidian designed by JU&KE design studio is a VR camera that can shoot stereoscopic 360-degree photos and videos at resolutions of up to 8k.

The camera takes it’s elegance from the familiar photographic devices’ design language trough it’s leather touches and copper hints while having a modern overall aesthetic.
The camera, named the Obsidian has garnered a "Best Of Innovation Honor" award at CES 2017 in Las Vegas as well as a German design award winner in 2018 and was one of the cameras singled out for praise by Facebook's VR engineer director, Brian Cabral.
