Sonoma weeHouse
by Alchemy Architects

Shortlisted for rural house of the year at Dezeen Awards 2019, Sonoma weeHouse is a small, prefabricated home by Alchemy Architects.

The minimalist house by the Minnesota-based firm comprises two open-sided boxes set on concrete plinths nestled on the edge of gnarled oaks. The primary structure features a whitewashed oak bed-box separating the living and bathroom areas. The two separate modules are almost entirely prefabricated before being brought to site.
