Combining the disciplines of architecture, interiors, product and graphic design, the practice works on the small scale and the intricate, to the grand and public. The studio aims to create unique spatial experiences and individual concepts with strong narratives by approaching each brief differently.

According the the studio, Linehouse operates as a platform to investigate the rituals of inhabitation and how these daily moments can be celebrated through design, transforming the mundane into performative acts.

Judges comments: "Linehouse's work is energetic, playful and experimental. They use a wide palette of materials and are not afraid of colour. The studio is interested in context and locality, testing different design methods to create unusual atmospheres."
