Artist and designer Adam Nathaniel Furman is the founder of his eponymous design studio, based in London.
Atelier Adam Nathaniel Furman’s portfolio includes both interior and furniture design, recognisable for its colourful, patterned forms. The studio’s recent projects include a "flowerburst" mosaic for a London maternity centre and a pair of anatomical chairs.
Furman describes himself as a designer of Argentinian, Japanese and Israeli heritage. Many of his projects have been exhibited globally and are included in the collections of the Design Museum, the Abet Museum and the Carnegie Museum of Art.
Former studio master at Central St Martins, Furman is also the co-director of the Saturated Space research cluster at the Architectural Association. He has lectured at the RIBA, the Casa dell'Architettura and Harvard Graduate School of Design.
