Ambrish Arora is the design principal at Studio Lotus, a multi-disciplinary design practice based in Delhi.
Studio Lotus, which was nominated for an Aga Khan Award, aims to craft spaces that address the emerging future of work, leisure and living.
The Indian studio’s work is grounded in principles of conscious design, celebrating local resources, cultural influences, attention to detail and an inclusive design process. Arora has a keen interest in promoting inclusivity and consciousness as a way of working in the design industry.
Studio Lotus' projects include the Hotel Raas Jodhpur, the Krushi Bhawan government facility and the Mehrangarh Fort visitor centre, which is currently under construction. The practice is also currently working on an interpretation centre at the Qutb Shahi necropolis gardens in Hyderabad for the Aga Khan Trust for Culture.
