A new way of serving and presenting, ALMA slides elegantly over the table surface, delivering all of the dishes and cutlery at once.
The 1.2-metre-long maple wood board has a small profile on the upper side to prevent the dishes from slipping off.
A single waiter can serve an entire table whilst maintaining the necessary distance. ALMA represents a modern form of table culture, promoting relaxed dining and socialising over food and drink.
This project has been longlisted in the workplace design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
