Designed by Kacper Gronkiewicz, Aura is a bar set on the ground floor of a former nineteenth-century tenement house in Warsaw.

The name of the bar refers to the Latin word for gold: aurum, and also references the colour of bourbon-based drinks served at the bar.

The studio has contrasted polished and matte raw brass with soft and tactile carpets that clad the wall. Behind the carpeted wall there is a supply area and cobalt blue toilet.

This project has been longlisted in the bar interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
