Hem Headquarters

HEM headquarters
Erik Lefvander

Atelier Paul Vaugoyeau has designed the new headquarters and showroom for Stockholm online furniture brand Hem.

The space embodies Hem's vanguard design aesthetic and features hacked office features, such as a traditional grid ceiling, intentionally left visible, and honest materials such as custom storage and furniture made from MDF.

The new Hem headquarters is situated at the bottom floor of a banking building that was previously a raw concrete storage space. The original layout was entirely open and the office was drawn from scratch to best suit the needs of the brand's growing team.

Specific quiet working rooms were made for the tech and the administration team at the left and right side of the showroom.

This project has been longlisted in the small workspace interior project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
