Bluemoon has designed a hot spring resort and exhibition center in Kunming, China.

The studio drew on the beauty and elegance of Kunming to create the center. The local culture has been a focal point in the design, highlighting humanity and the spirit of nature in an elegant way.

The challenges the designers were faced with included how to integrate the site with culture and art, how to create a dynamic and natural atmosphere, how to keep the harmony between human and nature, and how to bring art back to life.

This project has been longlisted in the leisure and wellness interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
