Longlisted for emerging architect of the year at Dezeen Awards 2020, Lendager Group is a Copenhagen architecture studio, founded by Anders Lendager in 2011.
Lendager Group's office in Copenhagen is not an ordinary architect's office. Everywhere there are materials made of waste – acoustic panels made of waste wood and felt textiles from old PET bottles, tiles made of reused concrete and glass facades made of upcycled windows.
Sustainability is always the starting point for aesthetics for the studio: combined with unique conditions, in the form of materials and production methods, this leads to meaningful architecture.
These methods have resulted in several projects applying our principles, such as Upcycle Studios, Resource Rows, the Danish pavilion for the Tokyo Olympics 2021 and UN17 Village.
