Monicia is a self-monitoring tool that combines a smartphone app and device to enable women to track symptoms of premenstrual syndrome.

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) happens a few days before a woman's period, disrupting her daily life. However, it is possible to alleviate PMS by keeping track of symptoms and making relevant lifestyle interventions.

Monicia enables its users to record and reflect on their body condition with ease. While the cumbersome process of recording body temperature is simplified, the app also offers a way to understand the relationship between the menstrual cycle and its impact on women, both physically and mentally.

This project has been longlisted in the wearable design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
