John Pawson has collaborated with Teixidors to design a collection of throws and cushions inspired by architectural patterns.

Tile plays with a repeating rectangular form to generate a mosaic, expressed in three intensities of colour. The collection perfectly embodies the appeal for Pawson of constructive patterns, of simplicity and textures that occur in nature.

The textiles are hand-woven by Teixidors' expert craftsmen in a balanced composition of ecological Merino wool from Provence in France and sustainable baby yak wool, obtained by combing young animals herded by a cooperative of nomadic cattlemen in Mongolia.

This project has been longlisted in the homeware design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
