CF18 Chocolatier was founded in 2018 by an engineer-turned-chocolatier. With this as the starting point, the studio created a narrative that bridges engineering, geology and chocolate-making.
By customising all elements in the packaging and working with a new highly moldable paper, the practice managed to avoid the plastic that usually goes into chocolate packaging.
The choice of natural, recyclable materials and the performative opening ritual imbue the packaging with a sense of modern luxury, with a mindful approach to materials and their afterlife.
