Andrum - Room for Thought
by Nyréns Arkitektkontor

Athanasios Giannimaras

ANDRUM is a conceptual project financed by the Swedish innovation agency initiative In wake of the crisis. A holy space where people can gather safely despite restrictions.

In times of crisis, people need to be able to come together and have access to existential health, spirituality, religion, tradition, and cultural historical heritage. In response, the Chapel offers an alternative solution. Andrum is a mobile and paired down construction. The chapel is mobile and causes no permanent impact on the surroundings where it is placed. The modules can be multiplied as to create different formations and they can be used worldwide.

This project has been longlisted in the installation design category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
