Anima Collection

Anima Collection by Yabu Pushelberg. Photo is by Salvatori.

Anima, Yabu Pushelberg’s first collection for Salvatori, comprises a range of bathtubs, basins and bathroom accessories inspired by the intrinsic connection of two halves coming together to form a whole.

Originating from Latin, Anima has been used to describe the feminine side to the male psyche. Drawing from this notion, the collection aims to externalize the internal through the juxtaposition of applying sensibilities of forgiving clay to hard stone.

Anima is inherently led by functionality while seeped in soulful romanticism. Characterized by softly curved radius and the sensuality of raw stone, Anima brings the art of sculpture into the bathroom.

This project has been longlisted in the homeware design category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
