Prototype for Modular Office Renovation
by MOR Studio

MOR team TU Delft

A group of TU Delft students, from eight different disciplines and 20 different nationalities, designed and built the super sustainable MOR prototype.

MOR stands for Modular Office Renovation, a concept developed by the team, to transform under-performing office buildings into net-positive ones. MOR implemented and validated its sustainable solutions into a full scale prototype, showcasing how future dwellings could look like. The 50m2 apartment is designed flexibly, to follow the evolving needs of its users. Climate design strategies ensure great indoor comfort conditions and a low energy demand. The prototype is also self-sufficient as it supplies all its energy needs.

This project has been longlisted in the sustainable building category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
