Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2021 architecture studio of the year, founded by Benoit Jallon and Umberto Napolitano in 2002, LAN explores the multidisciplinary fields of architecture.

This approach guides the firm's work through the investigation of social, urban, ecological and functional issues of the project.

The studio's production covers a wide range of scales and programmes, including some international awarded projects: the Maillon theatre (Equerre d'argent, 2020), the Euravenir tower (Mies van der Rohe Award and Prix Soufaché, 2015) and Begles' experimental dwellings (exhibited at Venice Biennale in 2016).

Since 2019, the RAAR research lab has supported the studio’s design process with extensive theoretical production, exhibitions, conferences and teaching activities.

LAN (Local Architecture Network) have been shortlisted in the architecture studio of the year category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
