The Dhaus Company has designed The Arches in London, United Kingdom.
The Arches is a set of six new terraced townhouses set in the Dartmouth Park conservation area in North-West London, where monumental brick arches outline London townhouses.
"Our initial design idea was inspired by the historic green lung of open green spaces along the Highgate road," said The Dhaus Company. "Our earliest discussion with Camden was to relink the two open public green spaces [on] either side of the site."
Therefore, the new green space acts as a buffer for the proposed architecture behind – six mews houses that appear to be single-storey from Highgate Road –to preserve the clear unbroken green line when viewed from the street.
