NOKE Architects has designed the interiors of the Glar Hotel in Wolin Island, Poland.
The Glar Hotel is a tribute to Wolin Island's rich history and natural beauty.
Drawing inspiration from local lore and archaeological discoveries, the hotel's design incorporates elements like wooden totems, burnt wood columns and clay plaster walls.
The hotel caters to a diverse clientele, offering various room configurations, a multi-functional conference area and a modern spa with unique treatments based on Slavic rituals.
The design seamlessly blends traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, using raw ceiling casts, textured fabrics and brushed wood finishes.
In addition, the spa boasts pools with mosaics and spacious saunas catering to Scandinavian preferences.
This project has been longlisted in the hotel and short-stay interior category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
