Patty Hopkins

Patty Hopkins is co-founder of RIBA Royal Gold Medal-winning studio Hopkins Architects.

Hopkins is known for her innovative use of materials, energy-efficient design and seamless blending of contemporary and traditional elements. In 2023, she was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her services to architecture.

Notable projects include a cluster of shell-like pods for a turtle sanctuary on the Sharjah coast in UAE, the Schlumberger Research Centre in Cambridge and Hopkins House in London.

Hopkins is also an honorary fellow of the Royal Institute of Architects (RIBA) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
