Teo Yang
Teo Yang is principal and founder of Seoul-based Teoyang Studio.
Yang's projects span from museums to restoration residential projects. Focussing on translating Korean traditional heritage to modern language.
Multidisciplinary in its approach, the studio has also established brands Eastern Edition Furniture, which reinterprets traditional Korean lifestyles for contemporary living, Earth Library, a skincare line rooted in traditional Korean medicine and Sinang, a brand focused on creating AI-generated fragrances.
Yang has gained wide international recognition, being featured in three Phaidon volumes, earning the AD100 award from Architectural Digest in 2022 and being shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2024 interior designer of the year.
