Fermetti has designed the interiors of Diegroen Loft, a kitchen prototype for Atelier Belge's modular system made in Belgium.

This project showcases an inspiring transformation of a former furniture factory into a stylish and functional loft on a limited budget and stands out for its use of basic materials such as metal studs, channel polycarbonate sheets and spruce plywood.

By focusing on smart design and creative material reuse, customisation was largely avoided, making the transformation both accessible and affordable while preserving the industrial charm of the space.

Another unique aspect of the project is its use of colour: Drawing inspiration from Le Corbusier's colour palette, the design achieves a harmonious and character-rich atmosphere.

Additionally, the kitchen is a prototype of Totem Kitchen, a modular system by Atelier Belge, which optimises both production and installation time.

This project has been longlisted in the kitchen interior category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
