Field Operations has restored and designed the Overlook Walk, a new waterfront public park in Seattle, United States.

Overlook Walk restores the historic connection between Seattle's Pike Place Market and the Waterfront while creating a new public park with breathtaking views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains.

The Overlook Walk is a new 1.5-acre elevated public park built atop a pedestrian structure that connects Seattle's Central Waterfront with its urban core at the Pike Place Market.

The restored connection bridges over the new Elliott Way roadway below and features an accessible pedestrian link that leads people down a 100-foot drop between the Pike Place Market and the Waterfront Promenade – providing expansive views of Elliott Bay, the city of Seattle and its harbour, Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountains.

This project has been longlisted in the infrastructure and transport project category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
