Aidia Studio has designed Parque Quintana Roo, an urban park with versatile facilities available to the public year-round for the residents of Chetumal in Quintana Roo, Mexico.

A government-funded initiative was established to address the demand for a new venue to accommodate the annual livestock and agricultural fair, an event supported by the state capital of Chetumal.

The newly developed fairground occupies a 10-hectare area, enveloped by a subtropical jungle and presenting a unique opportunity to transform the fairground into an urban park.

With versatile facilities available to the public year-round, featuring concerts, amusement rides and craft markets, the fairground makes for a great local addition.

This project has been longlisted in the landscape and urban design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
