Davide Macullo Architects, in collaboration with Orion Construction and S&L Studio, have designed the Vet Hospital Tirana, a plastic building dedicated to pet care in Tirana, Albania.
The Veterinary Hospital in Tirana, designed by Davide Macullo Architects, is a dynamic fusion of art, function, and nature. Its soft, flowing exterior contrasts with structured interior spaces, creating a harmonious environment for both animals and people.
The design incorporates principles of spatial psychology, ensuring comfort and security for its diverse inhabitants, merging sculptural forms with brutalist concrete, while gardens and terraces offer therapeutic spaces.
This innovative facility reflects a shift towards nature-centric, humanistic architecture, fostering a harmonious relationship between the built environment and the natural world, serving both aesthetic and practical purposes.
This project has been longlisted in the leisure and wellness project category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
