Juri Troy Architects has designed the extension of the Windkraft Simonsfeld headquarters, a new office extension in Ernstbrunn, Austria.

This project saw a new two-storey building added to the existing building designed by architect Reinberg, framing a central atrium.

"The expansion of the company headquarters of Windkraft Simonsfeld became necessary due to the strong growth of the company," said Juri Troy Architects.

The structure interferes minimally with the existing building and integrates it into a new overall concept.

"In line with the guiding principle, 'We build for the future', great importance was attached to sustainability, where wood as a renewable raw material and a resource-conserving building concept took centre stage," added Juri Troy Architects.

The result is a contemporary, ecological building that combines functional requirements with design quality.

This project has been shortlisted in the workplace project (small) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
