Winner: Kitchen interior of the year 2025. Studio Hagen Hall has transformed the interiors of the Pine Heath Kitchen as part of an extensive townhouse renovation in Hampstead, London, England.

Pine Heath is an expansive whole-house renovation and sensitive energy-focused transformation of a modernist townhouse set in the Hampstead Conservation Area of north London, designed initially by Ted Levy, Benjamin & Partners in the late 1960s.

Every element of the house was addressed and considered in detail – specifically, the new bespoke kitchen nods to the client and Studio Hagen Hall's shared interest in quality craftsmanship and material detailing.

Taking inspiration from the previous layout, the new kitchen utilises contemporary materials and techniques to honour the spirit and character of the original house.

Judges comments: "We loved the relationship between the kitchen and the dining area. The use of light and apertures creates the sense of room within a room. The details and junctions are expertly considered, and there is a joyful sense of nostalgia."
