Hot Design has designed The Exhibition Center of Cannano in Guangzhou, China.

The Exhibition Center of Cannano is China's first spherical timber lattice-shell building, integrating technology exhibitions, academic conferences and media communications.

Through an original steel-timber composite structure and the integrated coordination of multiple systems, this project addresses the central challenge of transforming abstract nanoscale philosophy and the institute's redwood-inspired culture into a perceptible and monumental spatial experience.

In doing so, it supports the institute's goals of advancing nanotechnology research, showcasing scientific achievements and establishing a world-class corporate brand image.
