Andrada Calin Studio has designed Think Twice, a bench made from textile waste.
Think Twice is a public bench made from fashion textile waste, installed in Fitzrovia for the London Festival of Architecture 2025.
Created in collaboration with textile designer Tabby Bunyan of Re_Considered and furniture maker Mark Smith of Isokon Plus, it uses Fabreco, produced from locally sourced discarded textiles.
Drawing on the creative spirit of Fitzrovia's Bloomsbury Group and Omega Workshops, Think Twice prompts reflection on fashion's environmental impact and climate action.
Think Twice celebrates cultural heritage, community connection and hyper-local recycling, framing design as a practice that respects resources, resists waste and embeds environmental responsibility in the public realm.
