RooMoo Design Studio has designed the interiors of Cloudhaus Hotel in Chongqing, China.

Located on Chongqing's Jinfo Mountain, Cloudhaus Hotel transforms a former five-level sales office into a 24-room boutique B&B.

Driven by a sustainable, low-waste philosophy, the design is deeply rooted in local craftsmanship and ethical material sourcing.

"We reimagined the architecture, landscape and interiors by creatively upcycling construction waste – such as concrete cores and red bricks – alongside repurposed cabin wood, local bamboo, shoot shells and mountain stones," said RooMoo.

Harmonising with the natural terrain, Cloudhaus weaves environmental responsibility and regional heritage into a compelling spatial narrative, setting a new aesthetic standard for sustainable mountain habitats.
