Civic Architects, VDNDP and Studio Groen+Schild have designed Cube UT at the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands.

Cube is a stacked workshop building of 4,734 square metres for the Faculty of Engineering Technology on the Drienerlo campus of the University of Twente in Enschede.

Created in collaboration with Civic Architects, VDNDP and Studio Groen+Schild, the building forms a compact extension of the Horst complex.

Upon entering, you overlook the seven-meter-high metal and welding workshop. Through a large void, the upper workshops are also visible.

Below, students and researchers work with machines, while above, prototypes are built and teaching takes place. In this way, Cube functions as an expo for the faculty.
