Preen has designed the interiors of Lucia in Los Angeles, United States.

Lucia is a modern Afro-Caribbean restaurant in Los Angeles offering an innovative take on the opulence of dining's Golden Era, transformed with a breath of air and island colour.

"The design challenge was to convert a former burger bar into a world-class kitchen and to create an intimate, rich and highly social nighttime space offering a fresh take on glamour to Angelinos," said Preen.

"The restaurant innovates by juxtaposition; it is designed to be a referential show-stopper."

As a result, Lucia is a rich, immersive dining experience – while at the same time, creating breathing room that speaks to nighttime island culture.
