Nova is a sculptural pendant lamp designed by Esben Bala Skouboe for Frandsen that combines design, mathematics and the aesthetics of nature.

Inspired by the golden ratio and the harmonious patterns found in galaxies, flowers and seashells, the lamp consists of eight spiralling cones that together form a poetic and harmonious ensemble.

Nova stands as a work of art, providing not only light but also a visual sculpture that engages and captivates the viewer, even when unlit.

As a result, the design challenges traditional notions of lighting by combining function, form and mathematical precision into an elegant yet dramatic whole.
